I watched a great movie a few weeks ago, A new Woody Allen film Called 'Midnight in Paris',  I loved it quite clearly as I watched it three times in a space of five days. I couldn't nor would I want to do it justice by explaining it on here, But If you're interested in Paris in the 20's/30's, Great writers and Artists and a lovely score and just a nice storyline, Check it out. Anyway, the reason why I'm writing this, is because there is quite an apt quote from the general antagonist from movie in question, which describes me quite well and I'd imagine, most souls who come across this page.
'Nostalgia is denial - denial of the painful present... the name for this denial is golden age thinking - the erroneous notion that a different time period is better than the one ones living in - its a flaw in the romantic imagination of those people who find it difficult to cope with the present' I guess that's us hey, we're broken, But I'm glad. We have taste.
